Ken Clark

What can be said about Ken Clark? He’s our drummer-plumber, resident jokester, and kind-hearted people person. Baby-faced, tattooed, and always quick with a laugh, Ken brings more than 34 years of plumbing experience spanning residential and commercial work.

Ken began his plumbing career in 1993 in Colorado Springs after taking a job for a steady paycheck—one that quickly turned into a lifelong profession. He worked throughout Texas and Colorado before making Montana home in 2007. In June of 2009, Ken joined the Alpine family and immediately became a valued member of the team.

His favorite part of the job is roughing in new construction—taking a project from nothing to completion and watching it all come together. Known as the “class clown,” Ken also prides himself on going above and beyond for customers, combining professionalism with kindness and humor.

“You have to call a plumber, so you’re already not in the best frame of mind,” Ken says. “I try to take some of the stress out, put the customer at ease, and add a little humor to a hard situation.”

Outside of plumbing, music is Ken’s lifelong passion. He received his first pair of drumsticks at age four and has been playing ever since. Ken is a founding member of The Bitter Road, a Billings-based band that recently released its first album. When he’s not working, you’ll find him around town supporting live music of all kinds—from jazz to metal.

Ken’s heart for people, love of music, and decades of experience make him an irreplaceable part of the Alpine team.
